Living alone at 22, I got tired of eating the same old food and ordering in. When my mom or aunts would come and visit they would cook unforgettable Nigerian dishes. Since I didn't know how to make those dishes myself, I would savor them in my fridge for as long as I could. Once the food ran out, I realized there is no platform catered strictly to ethnic food.

Moving to Canada from Nigeria at a young age, I experienced the harsh realities of living in a new country and the never-ending struggle to maintain your culture in the western world. By connecting those from ethnic backgrounds to one platform, I am driven to highlight the unique diversity of culture in Canada today.
