The BRDGE works exclusively with local caterers and restaurants—no home cooks. Our chefs are professionals who bring their unique cultural recipes to the community, ensuring top-tier quality and authenticity. Each vendor is approved based on food safety standards and operates from licensed kitchens.

What makes The BRDGE different from a restaurant or meal delivery service?

We’re not your typical meal delivery service—we specialize in catering and bulk meal deliveries so that food isn’t just a solo experience. Whether it’s for a team lunch, a family gathering, a networking event, or even students on a college campus, we help make meals more affordable by delivering in larger portions. Our goal is simple: great food, shared together.

Is The BRDGE a restaurant?

No, we’re not a restaurant. Think of us as your concierge for the best restaurants and caterers in Calgary, bringing together a variety of cuisines in one place. Whether you’re craving a specific dish or planning a large event, we make ordering from top-tier chefs easy and seamless.

Ordering & Delivery

How do I place an order?

You can place an order through our website by selecting the meals you’d like and completing checkout. We only offer delivery—pickup is not available.

Can I order from multiple restaurants or caterers at once?

Yes! We offer curated packages featuring the most popular and best menu items, carefully selected to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you have specific requests, reach out to us directly, and we’ll help create a menu that fits your needs.

How far in advance do I need to order?

We require a minimum of 48 hours for all orders. For weddings, we require at least 2 months' notice to ensure everything is perfectly planned.

Do you offer same-day orders?

No, we do not offer same-day orders. All meals are made fresh and require advance booking.

How does delivery work?

All deliveries are handled by The BRDGE and cost $25 per delivery. We operate during common busy hours, but if you have specific timing requests, feel free to reach out to us directly to see what’s possible.

  • If you place an order directly through our website, you are not subject to any service fees beyond the standard delivery charge.
  • If you require a custom quote, concierge service, or menu consultation, a 10-15% service fee will apply.

Can I schedule my order for a specific date?

Absolutely! Since we act as the middleman, we can coordinate with vendors to deliver on your preferred date—just let us know in advance.

Where do you deliver?

We currently only deliver within Calgary.

Can I pick up my order instead of getting delivery?

No, we do not offer pickup. Our focus is on the food and making sure you get the best catering experience. We work with multiple chefs who can provide the same dishes, so no matter what day your event is, we’ll have a chef available to fulfill your order.

Private Dining & Catering

Does The BRDGE offer catering?

Yes! We specialize in catering for corporate events, weddings, networking events, and large gatherings. Our team curates menus from the best caterers and restaurants in Calgary to fit your needs.

How do I book catering?

You can either select from our pre-set catering packages on our website or reach out to us for a custom quote. Custom catering requests are subject to a 10-15% service fee.

Do you offer private chef experiences?

Yes! If you’re looking for a private chef for an intimate dinner, corporate gathering, or special occasion, we can arrange a chef to prepare and serve a custom meal at your location.

How far in advance should I book catering?

  • Small events (under 50 people): At least 7 days in advance.
  • Larger events (50+ people): 2-4 weeks in advance.
  • Weddings and major events: At least 2 months in advance to secure availability.

Can I customize my catering order?

Absolutely! We can tailor menus to dietary preferences, event themes, and cuisine styles. If you need a fully customized menu, let us know your requirements, and we’ll coordinate with our chefs.

Do you provide full-service catering (staff, setup, cleanup)?

We provide food delivery only, but we can connect you with service staff, bartenders, and event rentals if needed. Let us know, and we’ll include it in your quote!

What happens after I submit a catering request?

Once you submit your request, we’ll review your details and match you with the best caterers for your event. We’ll then send you a proposal for approval.

  • For events less than 2 weeks away, we require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking.
  • For events scheduled more than 2 weeks in advance, a 25% deposit secures your date, with additional payments scheduled accordingly.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes! We work with a variety of chefs and caterers to ensure we have options for vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and other dietary needs. Just let us know your preferences when booking.

What if my guest count or menu needs to change?

  • Menu changes must be finalized at least 14 days before the event.
  • Final guest count must be confirmed 7 days before the event.
  • You can increase your guest count after the deadline, but you cannot decrease it. A minimum number must be locked in.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes! Tastings are available for larger events and weddings. Fees may apply depending on the caterer and menu selection.

Payment & Policies

How do I pay for my order?

We accept:

  • Credit Card (2.5% processing fee)
  • E-Transfer (no additional fees)

Do you require a deposit for catering orders?

Yes.

  • For events less than 2 weeks away, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • For events more than 2 weeks away, a 25% deposit secures your date, with additional payments scheduled.

When is the final payment due?

For weddings, large events, and private dinners:

  • 25% deposit to book your date
  • 50% payment due 14 days prior
  • 85% payment due 7 days prior
  • Final 15% payment due after the event is completed

For meal deliveries: Full payment is required at checkout.

What is your cancellation policy?

For catering orders:

  • If canceled at least 14 days before the event, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit.
  • If canceled within 7-13 days of the event, 50% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • If canceled within 7 days of the event, the full amount is non-refundable.

For meal deliveries: All sales are final. No refunds or cancellations are allowed once an order is placed.

Can I modify my order after placing it?

For catering: Menu adjustments must be made at least 14 days before the event.

For guest count changes: The final number must be confirmed 7 days before the event. You can increase your guest count after this but cannot decrease it.

For meal deliveries: Orders cannot be changed once placed.

What happens if my event gets postponed?

If your event is rescheduled, we will apply your deposit as credit towards the new date. Rescheduling is subject to vendor availability and must be confirmed at least 7 days before your original event date.

What if The BRDGE or the vendor cancels my order?

In the rare case that The BRDGE or one of our vendors cannot fulfill your order, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule your order with another vendor.

Do you charge service fees?

  • Orders placed directly through the website: No service fees, just a flat $25 delivery charge.
  • Custom orders or concierge requests: A 10-15% service fee applies.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

We take dietary restrictions very seriously and actively prevent cross-contamination in our kitchens. All BRDGE staff are food safety certified and trained to handle allergens properly. If you have a specific concern, please let us know at the time of booking.

What if there is an issue with my order?

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us immediately. We will work to resolve any issues, whether it’s a missing item or a concern with food quality.
